  • 45% of campaigns got contributions from more than one country (57% of campaigns that reached their goal).
  • Campaigns got an average 55% more  likes or shares on Facebook than they did in 2011.

  • Campaigns with videos under 5 minutes were 25% more likely to reach their goal than those with videos that were longer.
  • Average campaign video length for campaigns was 3 minutes and 27 seconds in 2012. Campaigns that reach their goal are 16 seconds shorter
  • On average core campaigns uploaded 6 media to their gallery in 2012 -up from 5 in 2011.
